Submit ticketSoSha automatically adds UTM parameters to all links shared from your toolkits. These parameters help analytics tools report:
You’ll also see utm_source=sosha
in your URLs. This is a standard field used by tools like Google Analytics to show where traffic is coming from.
Some CRMs, like ActionNetwork, ActionKit, and EveryAction, don’t use utm_source
to track traffic. Instead, they rely on a source=
parameter. To make sure your links work with these platforms, SoSha automatically adds source=sosha
unless you’ve specified a different source in your URL.
If you’re already using your own UTM parameters in your links, SoSha will respect your settings—your custom UTMs will override ours.
If you need every link in a toolkit to go to a specific page—for example, an event signup, petition, or donation form—you can use the url=
parameter. This is especially useful when embedding a toolkit on your site or linking to it from an email and you want the share links to point to a personalized URL.
If you don’t want to replace the entire link but still want to add a tracking tag, use the v=
parameter.
To use it:
